A recap on pre and post training

Performing at least a warm up and cool down with your dog, you are an instant hero!

See to it that you can do a proper warm up and cool down before you go training and a cool that after your training, then you're already good to go.

There are easy movements you can do with your dog and perform for your warmups. Basic easy movements for easy warmups include a walk progressing to a trot, a few repetitions of, a sit, a down and a stand. Walking backwards is really important. Walking sideways is really important.

Get your dogs to understand and be able to do these movements. If your dog can do those movements, then you're covering a big body area for a warmup already.

These are items that you can skills-train quite easily, and you can start doing so today.

Perform these for about 5 to 10 to 15 minutes in your walkups and your cool downs (depending on your dog's ability, fitness level and training session intensity.

Along with training for these movements, and use this time as a body check. Train for those movements and incorporate them in a warmup and then also incorporate them in your cooldowns and watch how your dogs perform those movements as part of your body check.

Remember, that each dog may react differently to different product and there are other products out there, but these have a good track record and are well developed.
