Name: Raven (Champion Rhonabwy Raven Ov Bear CDX ADM JDM ADO JDO SPDM GDX SDX ET)

Breed: Border Collie

Age: 6 years 2 months

Favourite sport: Agility

Problem area: Lame front shoulder

When did it occur: 18 months of age

Physio’s diagnosis: Stop agility training as the stresses placed on the front legs by weaving obstacles at maximum speed could cause further lameness.

Treatment: Ceased training completely for a short period and incorporated Sashas Blend into the diet

Current situation: Has never been lame and avoided all injuries since being on Sasha’s Blend. Recovery time after runs is quick and speed is such that we often win 1st place.

Training schedule: Currently in training for the Nationals to be held in Sydney in June 2006. We train up to five days per week and the trials on the weekend can include doing up to eight runs.

Awards: Winning Masters Jumping and Open Agility class Border Collie National 2006 as well making the WA State Team. Has won at Western Classic consistently.

Diet: Daily meal of a premium kibble and yoghurt plus Sashas Blend.

Thank you!

Update: “we ran clear in that one with her doing everything perfectly and it was good enough to win the Masters Agility class at the 2nd BC National! Onya Rave! And on your 9th birthday too! How cool is that?” “This was just amazing…and all on Raven’s 9th birthday. A dog currently in remission from Canine Lymphoma and still receiving chemo. Out of the nine events I had entered that day, between the three of them (dogs) they managed to carry off the first places from seven of the events! I’m so happy I got to take them all
