In some cases, the dog may still run and play normally, but in more severe cases the dog has more difficulty moving. However, targeting these muscles can be challenging, but we can aim to help our dog target these muscles through correct posture and angles of the front feet when executing an exercise.<\/p>\n<p>The type of exercise we would be looking at is similar to a human doing calf raises where the calf muscles contract as we lift our heels off the ground and stand on our tippy toes and holding that position.
