It is so AWESOME to have you here!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Your success depends on you becoming your dog’s coach and hero. So, I’d like to show you how to navigate this program so you don’t get stuck in the dreaded Overwhelm.<\/p>\n

Let’s look at the steps you should follow (all these steps are broken down even more in our Community, so please remember to check in. <\/p>\n

Step 1<\/span>:  Gain an Understanding of your dog’s body<\/h3>\n

You are here in Module 1 – the best place to start. Here we explain much of the “Why” of how we work the way we do.<\/p>\n

Discover your dog and their body so that you understand what you are trying to strengthen and why.<\/p>\n

This information is located in Modules 1-3.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/span>: Get Baseline Photos and Join the Community <\/h3>\n

Action Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Get your baseline photos and see your dog in a different light. These give you insight into your “starting moment”. They will motivate you as you see how your dog progresses, too! You will need these for our first 1:1 Initial Assessment Call – Book your call in our Community<\/li>\n
  2. Join the Community – explore and track your progress on each exercise in the Course Summary<\/em> Tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Step 3<\/span>: Learn, Understand and PRACTICE the Foundation Basics<\/h3>\n

    Please don’t think “My dog knows this” or “My dog can do this” and then skip the exercise. A simple exercise is not “easy to execute correctly”.<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n

    Practice even the “simple” exercise to ensure form and technique, as these will help highlight certain weaker areas that your dog may be hiding.<\/p>\n

    Video, the exercise. Post the video in the Community. Get feedback<\/strong> on your form or technique.<\/p>\n

    This is where you gain the best understanding of why every detail is important.<\/p>\n

    Please don’t rush this step. It usually lasts about 8 -12 weeks.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

    Step 4<\/span>: Create a simple program and get the motivation to keep going<\/h3>\n

    You can work out a simple weekly program that looks similar to the following:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Draw 3 – 4 columns on a page and place at least 4 exercises from the Foundation Basics in each column.<\/li>\n
    • Each column is an exercise session where you will be doing no more than 4 sessions in a week.<\/li>\n
    • Share these in our Accountability Circle<\/strong> in the Community and practice your exercises (get guidance on how many sets and repetitions to do).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Or use our guidance in Starting Circuits in the Community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Step 5<\/span>:  Move on to start your Getting Stronger exercises<\/h3>\n

      A big mistake is that people start some of these exercises too soon, thinking that Foundation Basics are too easy.  <\/p>\n

      By skipping the Foundation Basics, your dog has not developed the required strength, and flexibility to progress to the Getting Stronger exercises safely.  <\/p>\n

      Please remain on Step 3 and 4 until your dog is comfortable with Foundation Basics – thereafter: <\/p>\n

        \n
      • Practice adding 1 – 2 Getting Stronger exercises into your simple program above.  <\/li>\n
      • Maintain only 4 exercises in a session, which means you will be swapping a Foundation Exercise with a Getting Stronger Exercise or even combining an exercise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Work on your ideas and get help in the Community and the Accountability Circle. Take videos and ask for feedback because as your dog gets stronger, new challenges emerge. <\/p>\n

        There is also our Progressions Circuit available in the Community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

        Step 6<\/span>: Share in your Community about your journey<\/h3>\n
