Ticks!  No one likes them, especially not your pets.

They are cunning and manage to hide in really hard-to-find places.  Best is to check you pet after every outing, such a walks, hikes, trips to the beach and even outdoor playtime.

Here are 7 areas to look at especially.

Not only is it a good idea to look for ticks, but while you’re at it, check for lumps , bumps and irritations regularly.

What to look for:

Feel for lumps and bumps and look for areas that seem a bit irritated.  Some ticks may be the size of a sesame seed.

As ticks are drawn to dark, moist areas on the body, give the following areas a thorough going over (yes, even if your dog is on a preventative!)
